Check that you're not putting off clients through any of these behaviours:
- not giving the client your full, undivided attention when you are meeting or talking on the phone
- treating their money as though it doesn't matter all that much to you
- treating them as "just another client" like the rest rather than an important individual
- boasting about how busy or overworked you are
- forgetting the little courtesies
- not following through and doing what you say you'll do, when you say you'll do it
- not asking clients "how are we going, here ?" or "how satisfied are you with my service ?".
