Dott works with law firms, other professional practices, and public sector agencies.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration. Dott has also achieved accreditation in a range of diagnostic tools that support her work in creating and managing teams, executive coaching leadership and communication and problem solving.
Dott is a past lecturer in the MBA stream in the Faculty of Business at Queensland University of Technology on contemporary management, project and contract management. She is also a regular presenter at national business conferences and workshops. Dott was Director of the Australian Council of Businesswomen and a mentor under the Queensland Women in Public Sector (QWIPS) mentoring programme.
Dott has recently completed the UK Office of Government and Commerce (OGC) Project Gateway Reviewer Training in London.
Her formal teaching accreditation includes Certificate IV in Teaching and Assessment and Dott has over 5 years teaching at Masters level in Project Management at QUT and co-authored the Contract Management Module for the MBA program.
