Guarantee your firm a bigger, better and brighter 2015

December 3, 2014 | Posted in: Grow your business

2015 will only be better if you take action to make it better. I can hear the excuses already: “I’m too busy”, “I need more time”, “I need more money”, “I’ll just wait until the market improves”, “I’ll wait until I get lucky”, and so on.

People are always waiting for the perfect time to take the action required to make a difference. That perfect time to stop procrastinating and take action is NOW.

“Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday” (Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich).

Write down what you want to achieve, and start working towards it. Positive and achievable goals will help you make lasting changes in your behaviour.

How will you increase your value to clients next year? What business challenges do you want to address?

Get out of your comfort zone and start doing those things that you have been putting off, despite the fact they are key to your success. Here are a few things to ask yourself:

  • what is my motivation for change?
  • what are the benefits for me to change?
  • what steps do I need to take to make the change happen?
  • how can I stay on track and maintain it?

Push yourself, believe in yourself, embrace change and new technology, and get rid of those bad habits that are holding you back.

Over to you…
